CONNECTIVITY TO DIGITAL WORLD

When I see the world around me-- how fast it changes, how things are becoming easy, how world is getting connected, I feel like a fantasy. Few years back in India, we don’t have mobile phones in every hand but in last 8-10 years we can see how mobile became so popular and necessary. Nowadays  you can see  mobile phones in every second hand, even the ‘sabjiwalas’, ‘rikshawalas’, etc. are using mobile phones than us. It became the part of our basic necessities of life. The digital world is growing very fast. I didn’t ever expect to have so many electronic gadgets with me.

Yesterday I heard about new technology which is given the name “SIXTH SENSE TECHNOLOGY”. It’s amazing to know about this technology which connects the real world with the digital world. In this technology, every object is used as interfaces. It makes many of our tasks very easy and interesting to do. This technology was introduced by Pranav Mistry, working at MIT.  He tried to do these kinds of experiments a few years back when our computer mouse is coming with balls. He took his mouse and opened it and used its two sensors to develop the technology.  By using four of such sensors, he developed a device with a camera pendant. You can take pictures without taking out your camera from pocket by just simply pose of photography. You can see maps, calculators also. You can put your boarding pass to check about your flight details, you can keep a coffee mug on it to know where you can get coffee nearby. This technology will bring a dramatic change in digital world.

In spite of being so appealing, this technology have so many drawbacks like if you want to work very accurately or want to work on pixels than you cannot do that because the suspending camera pendant will not remain still and you would not be able to have 100% accuracy. The other drawback is like if you want to type with a high speed, you cannot because you have to type with only one hand as the other hand is required to hold the paper on which text is to be written.

Considering so many drawbacks still I will love to work with such a gadget and love to have it with me. I think it might take more than 50 years from now to this technology to reach common man. But still we would like to see more improvement towards sixth sense technology. To know more about this technology, see the given video of Pranav mistry….

hope you all like it.. kip reading .. ll come with a new topic.. :)

So here it goes..

I was trying to write from a long time but as I am very lazy so couldn’t make it. I am a daily blog-reader and I love to follow different writers. I love to know world according to other views and then comparing their point of view to see the world to mine. And you know what it makes a good matter of study or you can say that it makes a good mind exercise.

When I was in school, we had our English teacher, Mr. Joglekar, who taught me to observe the world around me. He told us to observe about one thing around you and whatever you got to know about it just write down in your diary. This will surely increase your knowledge about things around you. But because of my lazy behavior, I could not able to write the things I observe. Then I started reading blogs of different people and after reading their perspective, I find my own. So blog-reading became one of my habits which I love the most.

So, I hope I can continue to write about things…
